Before I tell you the winners of the last challenge, I have to tell you something about the latest one!
Our current challenge (found here) asks you to make a box, and at least THREE cards to fit into this. It is obviously NOT a card challenge as it has the box with it. The DT found this to be such a fun challenge and we have enjoyed making our container for the three smallish cards, and then making the cards to fit (or visa-versa in my case!) You can tell they enjoyed it because they are all (even mine!) so gorgeous!! We did have a bit of time to think about it, but I will let you into a secret - I made mine only the week before it was due, and I had not really thought about it until I began to construct it. See, it can be done! They also make great gift sets and I know they sell really well for those of you who are commercially minded or who are making for charities.
There are heaps of tutorials available for boxes: lots of beautiful die-cuts out there to add to them if you want, and really, the sky is the limit here. You can repurpose a box/container; make one from scratch or use a template. Paint it, scrap it, decorate it, don't decorate it........whatever, as my granddaughters used to say when they were a bit younger! Just DO IT!
So, please......have a go at this challenge! We have got only a few entries (three as I write this) and it would be a pity if you don't go in this, as there are some great prizes from our lovely sponsors!
Our wonderful Sponsors for this challenge are:
Winner 1 will receive a $12 gift voucher to spend in the shop
Winner 2 will receiver $10 Voucher to spend at the shop Di's Digi Designs
Enough of the advertorial! Back to the program.......
Winner's Challenge # 11: Card Challenge - Use your scrap
Use your Scrap
( at least 5 different pieces of DP)
Hilde has chosen the winner's as usual, and she was blown away by all that were shared with us on the Linky: such a great lot to chose from again this fortnight! People obviously find the card challenges easier, but the projects are just as much fun and so much more interesting!
Just a note: some people couldn't be considered for prizes because they didn't follow the simple rules we have. Please make sure you read these before entering. For example, this challenge is a CARD challenge - we tend to alternate between projects and straight cards, and Hilde always tells you what it is when the challenge is announced.
4 digis of winners choice
16 Cheryl (the gorgeous 3D effect of the tree and for using the scrap for the borders underneath)
4 Nancy ( I love the way the hearts pop off the card, the LO and the lovely sentiment)
